Compute G′ if G = F x F′

Let $G = F \times F'$ . Compute $G'$ in terms of $F$ and $F'$ .

Using the product rule for the cross product we compute,

$\begin{align*} G = F \times F' && \implies && G' &= (F \times F')' \\ && \implies && G' &= F' \times F' + F \times F'' \\ && \implies && G' &= F \times F'' \end{align*}$

Since $F' \times F' = 0$ since a vector crossed with itself is 0.
