Compute some values of f(x) = x+1

For $f(x) = x+1$ compute:

$f(2) = 2 + 1 = 3$ .
$f(-2) = -2 + 1 = -1$ .
$-f(2) = -(2+1) = -3$ .
$f(\frac{1}{2}) = \frac{1}{2} + 1 = \frac{3}{2}$ .
$\frac{1}{f(2)} = \frac{1}{2+1} = \frac{1}{3}$ .
$f(a+b) = a+b+1$ .
$f(a) + f(b) = a+1 + b+1 = a+b+2$ .
$f(a) f(b) = (a+1)(b+1) = ab + a + b + 1$ .
