Compute some values of f(x) = 1+x and g(x) = 1-x

Let $f(x) = 1+x$ and $g(x) = 1- x$ for $x \in \mathbb{R}$ . Compute:

$f(2) + g(2) = (1+2) + (1-2) = 2$ .
$f(2) - g(2) = (1+2) - (1-2) = 4$ .
$f(2)g(2) = (1+2)(1-2) = -3$ .
$frac{f(2)}{g(2)} = \frac{1+2}{1-2} = -3$ .
$f(g(2)) = f(1-2) = f(-1) = 1+(-1) = 0$ .
$g(f(2)) = g(1+2) = g(3) = 1-3 = -2$ .
$f(a) + g(-a) = (1+a) + (1-(-a)) = 2 + 2a$ .
$f(t)g(-t) = (1+t)(1-(-t)) = (1+t)^2$ .
