Compute G′ if G = F x F′

Let G = F \times F'. Compute G' in terms of F and F'.


Using the product rule for the cross product we compute,

    \begin{align*}  G = F \times F' && \implies && G' &= (F \times F')' \\  && \implies && G' &= F' \times F' + F \times F'' \\  && \implies && G' &= F \times F'' \end{align*}

Since F' \times F' = 0 since a vector crossed with itself is 0.
